Education

Professor Goran Nešić, Ph.D., is a regular professor of volleyball at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education in
Belgrade (DIF). He defended his doctorate on the topic “Structure of competitive activity in women’s volleyball”.
2006 at the University of Belgrade.
Books: published 9 books and textbooks in the field of sports and physical education, i.e. volleyball.
Published works: published a large number of works in journals of categories M20, M50 and in scientific journals
conferences in the field of sports and physical education.

Professional experience

• In 1979-1990 he actively played volleyball in OK IMT – Belgrade and OK Crvena Zvezda – Belgrade;
• 2009-2015 President of the coaching organization in the Belgrade Volleyball Association;
• 1994-1999 Coach of the women’s volleyball senior national team of Yugoslavia;
• 1990 and 2001 Selector of the women’s junior national team of Belgrade;
• 2007 Selector of the University National Team of Serbia;
• Completed the World Volleyball Federation (FIVB) volleyball instructor course;
• Engaged in the organization of volleyball camps for promising volleyball players and
training seminars for coaches, both here and in the Republic of Srpska, the Republic of Serbia
Macedonia and the Republic of Montenegro;
• Lecturer at the 2nd international seminar for volleyball coaches: “COACHES FOR WINNING”;
• Lecturer at the 3rd international seminar for volleyball coaches: “COACHES FOR WINNING”;
• Coaching engagement in volleyball clubs: OK IMT – Belgrade, OK Tent – Obrenovac,

•2016/17: with GŽOK Eaton Srem Tempo – Sremska Mitrovica – placement in the Super League of Serbia
• 2016-2019: Selector of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina – participation in the qualifications for
2017 European Championship and 2018 World Championship.
• 2009: With O.K. Vizura – Belgrade – placement in the Super League of Serbia;
• 2007: coach of the University National Team of Serbia – second place – silver medal at
Universiade in Bangkok;
• 2004: O.K. Poštar – Belgrade, won the CUP of Serbia and Montenegro;
• 2001-2006: analyst in the volleyball team of Serbia;
• 2001: O.K. Radnički – Belgrade, won the Yugoslav Cup;
• 1995: O.K. Poštar – Belgrade, won the Yugoslav Cup;
• 1994-1998: coach of the women’s senior national team of Yugoslavia – 4th place at the Mediterranean
games in 1997;
• Vice-champion in the championship of Yugoslavia, he was five times;
